Some of my Claybots are soda glazed. The process requires each bot to be fired to 1280dc on high alumina wadding. Sometimes this wadding needs to be ground off. This does leave some scarring on the base of the piece. Quite often the more interesting and runny the glaze the more tidying up is required. All sizes are approximate.
